Baume & Mercier Watches
In 1830, two brothers, Louis Victor and Pierre Joseph Célestin Baume, founded their first watch manufacture in the Swiss mountain town of Les Bois. As business flourished in Europe, a grandson of the founder, William Baume, met Paul Mercier, a great lover of the arts, and in 1918 they created a business partnership. The contrast of the precise Baume with the artistic Mercier fused form and function to create the high standards that still exist at Baume & Mercier today.
From the Hampton collection, with its Art Deco-inspired, cambered rectangular case, to the elegant sophistication of the Classima collection, Baume & Mercier watches are true achievements in the art of fine watchmaking.
