After Terry Betteridge bought his first car, his father, Bert, gave him a steel Rolex with St. Christopher, the patron saint of travelers, on the case back. Bert hoped that Saint Chris would protect his son in all his travels. When Terry's own children, Win and Brooke, received their first car keys, Terry attached silver, St. Christopher medals to their key chains with the same wish in mind.
