Patek Philippe Calatrava Manual White Gold (5119G)

The Patek Philippe Calatrava watch (ref. 5119G) features a mechanical manual winding movement; classic Patek hobnail-patterned bezel; white lacquered dial with small seconds subdial; sapphire-crystal, transparent case back; and 36mm, 18k white gold case on a black alligator strap with an 18k white gold ardillon buckle.

The Calatrava is Patek Philippe's signature collection. Originally released in 1932, the Calatrava was the exquisite result of that period's avant-garde design philosophy that emphasized sleek lines and understated fashion. The 5119G is a a new version of the Calatrava "Clous de Paris," one of Patek Philippe's best known watches of all time, and it incorporates the original dial design of the famous Calatrava ref. 3919, first introduced in the mid-1980's. The 5119G differs from the 5116G in that the 5119G has a white lacquered dial, while the 5116G has a white enamel dial.
