Description

First produced in the 1930s for civil aviation purposes, the Pilots family has become known for its precise timepieces with outstanding technology.

With its cool, retro styling, this IWC Pilot’s Mark XVIII Heritage Men’s Watch takes inspiration from the historic Big Pilot’s watch 52.

Optimized for aviation, this high performance timepiece is set within a 40mm titanium case, driven by 35111-calibre, automatic self-winding movement and features a 42 hour power reserve and water resistance to 60 meters.

It is also equipped with a soft-iron inner case for protection against magnetic fields and an anti-reflective sapphire glass lens that secures against displacement by any drop in air pressure, for precision and reliability at high altitudes.

The large, black dial is kept simple and un-cluttered for enhanced legibility, featuring luminescent hands and rounded Arabic numerals, a date display and a bold triangle with two dots to clearly mark 12 o’clock, while a brown calfskin strap adds a vintage touch.
