George IV Silver Hot Water Kettle with Stand
Hot water kettle with hinged cover in sterling silver, with shell motifs and baroque trim, as well as a squash blossom finial, on matching lamp stand with splayed acanthus leaf feet, made by Paul Storr for Storr & Mortimer, London, circa 1832. Heraldic device hand-engraved on back of kettle with smaller matching crest on burner. No evident repairs. Dimensions: 14.25 x 10.5 x 8.5". 91 ounces.
