Celebrating the 75th Birthday of the Portugieser Watch Family
The Portugieser Hand-Wound Eight Days Edition “75th Anniversary” provides an extremely attractive reminder of the original Portugieser from the 1930s. In order to preserve the characteristic simplicity of the dial, the power reserve display has been positioned on the movement side of the watch. When fully wound, the IWC-manufactured 59215 caliber provides a reliable source of energy for eight days. The indexless Glucydur®* beryllium alloy balance oscillates at a frequency of 4 hertz or 28,800 beats per hour. The watch is available in a limited edition of 750 in stainless steel.
