Parting with family heirlooms or treasured possessions can be an emotional and difficult process. At Betteridge, we are sensitive to your decision and need for confidentiality.

Your Betteridge sales consultant will guide you through the process, explaining what each object is and why it is valued at a particular amount. He or she will be happy to discuss the merits of anything you would like to sell—from less expensive family heirlooms to magnificent rarities.
A watchful eye.
Throughout every period in history, there have been a few great jewelry and watch designers who have defined the essence of beauty. Not surprisingly, we are very interested in pieces from the finest houses, including Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Tiffany, Harry Winston, Verdura and David Webb, as well as timepieces from Patek Philippe, Rolex, A. Lange & Söhne, Cartier, Audemars Piguet and Panerai, amongst others.
Our offer process.
Generally, it takes 1-2 weeks to complete the offer process, during which time your items will be left in our care for analysis and appraisal by one of our jewelry and watch specialists. Our experts need the time and oftentimes lab equipment, to appropriately evaluate your items.
No appointment is required. Your salesperson will provide a receipt detailing any items we take into our care. In our Greenwich location, offers are always done on-site. We do not charge for this process, nor is there any commitment on your behalf to sell.
Betteridge buys jewelry and watches from customers outright—experience has taught us that objects brought in on consignment do not achieve the best results for their owner.
