Luminor 1950 Rattrapante Titanium (PAM00530)
The Panerai Luminor 1950 Rattrapante 8-Days (ref. PAM00530) features the Panerai P.2006/3 caliber mechanical automatic movement with an approximate 8-day power reserve when fully wound; black dial with luminous dots and hour markers; minute counter at 3 o’clock; linear power reserve indicator at 6 o’clock; small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock; central chronograph and split-seconds hands; sapphire-crystal, exhibition case back; and 47mm, brushed titanium case on a black rubber strap secured by a trapezoidal-shaped, brushed titanium buckle.
How the PAM00530's Rattrapante Function Works...
The split-seconds function, also known as rattrapante, operates two hands that are superimposed and partially independent: the first is entirely controlled by the button at 8 o’clock, which starts, stops and resets the chronograph hand; the second, controlled by the button at 10 o’clock, is used for measuring partial times or a second event simultaneous with the first.
