WHY WE LOVE IT

Panerai means different things to different collectors, but wherever you stand on the spectrum, there's no denying that these things have presence!

Although by no means diminutive, Panerai watches — with their excellent "cushion" case design that has become synonymous with the brand — do have a way of wearing smaller than advertised. 

This PAM992 Radiomir 8 Days from the 2020s is a prime example: Housed in a 45mm stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal and a signed crown, it wears surprisingly comfortably despite its large profile. Featuring a luminous matte black dial with a matching blued-steel handset, and a sub-seconds display at 9 o’clock, it’s powered by Panerai’s hand-wound Calibre P.5000 movement with an incredible 8 days of power reserve, and comes paired to a signed brown leather strap with a signed stainless steel pin buckle.

In excellent condition and accompanied by its factory goodies, this PAM992 constitutes an excellent entry point into the brand’s in-house offerings. Hefty and military-inspired, it’s a no-nonsense watch that gets the job done. You know what we’re gonna say:

The case is in outstanding, as-new condition overall showing only faint wear from gentle use. Luminous matte black dial is in as-new condition with matching blued-steel handset. Signed crown Sapphire exhibition caseback.
