Description

A timepiece that looks like it’s going somewhere, even when it’s completely still. Movement within movement. Its fluid steel case and integrated bracelet flow around a Midnight Blue fumé dial, while at 6 o’clock, the retrograde seconds bring another kind of movement into play. The hand sweeps across its scale before snapping back to zero, again and again. Even our transparent lacquer logo stays out of the way. Wouldn’t want to interrupt the flow now, would we?
Instead of a traditional seconds hand that rotates once every 60 seconds, the retrograde seconds mechanism follows an arc and resets every 30 seconds, with the seconds hand swiftly returning to its starting position.

With a design inspired by measuring instruments and speedometers, the open retrograde mechanism is a standout feature. Completing its journey every 30 seconds, it offers an exciting kinetic and choreographic spectacle.

An evolution of our HMC 250, the self-winding HMC 252 calibre is supplied by Agenhor and equipped with a tungsten rotor. Its retrograde mechanism features a newly designed rack on the dial side, lending a distinctive visual signature to this intricate complication.
