WHY WE LOVE IT

One name: Gerald Genta. The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak is perhaps Genta's most memorable work, and in many ways changed the shape of the watch industry. The Royal Oak essentially created an entirely new category of 'luxury sport' timepieces, and with it came a new design language which inspired countless other manufactures. What's particularly delightful about the design of the Royal Oak is that it works brilliantly in a number of sizes and casing materials, from steel to carbon fiber or solid gold. This particular Royal Oak is a chronograph model, Reference 26331ST in a panda configuration. Housed in a 41mm stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal, a signed crown, screw-down chronograph pushers, and a crispy white grand-tapisserie dial with black sub registers and a matching handset. Powered by the Audemars Piguet Calibre 2385 automatic movement, it comes fitted to AP's sensational integrated bracelet. Furthermore, this piece remains in outstanding, virtually unworn condition and is accompanied by its full kit. With ROs trading for many multiples of retail these days, this is a rare opportunity to pick one up amidst the feeding frenzy that is the luxury sports watch market. Don't sleep on this one!

OVERALL CONDITION The case is in outstanding, virtually unworn condition throughout showing only faint wear from gentle handling with intact factory casing and partial stickering. Luminous white 'micro-tapisserie' dial with black subsidiary registers is in equally outstanding, as-new condition with matching handset. Signed crown.
