One name: Gerald Genta. 

The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak is perhaps Genta’s most memorable work, and in many ways changed the shape of the watch industry.

The Royal Oak essentially created an entirely new category of 'luxury sport' timepieces, and with it came a new design language which inspired countless other manufactures. What's particularly delightful about the design of the Royal Oak is that it works brilliantly in a number of sizes and casing materials, from steel to carbon fiber or solid gold.

This particular model, a Reference 25594SA, features a 36mm 18k yellow gold and stainless steel construction, a grey tapisserie dial with gold subsidiary register rings and applied baton indices, a matching handset, and Audemars Piguet's Calibre 2825 automatic-winding calendar moonphase movement within!

Wearing slightly smaller than its "Jumbo" predecessors, 36mm Royal Oaks have become a favorite amongst collectors for its beautiful proportions, wearability, and value proposition, even this one in full yellow gold!

Try it on the wrist once, and you'll have a tough time taking it off - don't say we didn't warn you!

OVERALL CONDITION

The case and bracelet are in fantastic condition throughout showing signs of light polishing and normal wear consistent with age and use. Gray 'tapisserie' dial with gold subsidiary register rings and applied yellow gold 'baton' indices is in equally fantastic condition with matching Tritium handset. Signed crown.
