This slim and elegant piece couldn't be any further removed from the bulky brute of the Royal Oak Offshore line that Audemars Piguet is perhaps most commonly known for amongst today's collectors. Hearkening back to a simpler time, it’s representative of an era in which the maison made so few watches per year that many were unique pieces, or part of incredibly limited series.

Dating to the second half of the 1960s, this piece features a 33mm stainless steel 'tonneau' case with a mineral crystal, an unsigned crown, and a satin silver dial with applied indices and a matching 'pencil' handset.

This piece comes fitted to one of our Analog:SHift blue leather straps with a steel pin buckle and is powered by AP's manually wound Calibre 2002 — a rather rare movement!

Elegant and understated, this piece serves as a window into the mindset of a pre-Royal Oak Audemars Piguet, who once excelled at making svelte, ultra-thin dress watches.
