WHY WE LOVE IT

Ladies' watches, unfortunately, don’t get the attention they deserve.

It seems to be assumed that women are fine with shoddily designed timepieces devoid of soul. Of course, this is nonsense — there’s no reason whatsoever that a lady’s watch should be any less considered than a man’s!

Bulgari is one of few companies whose thoughtful ladies’ watches have risen to the top — perhaps because of the firm’s background as a jeweler. The Serpenti, a serpentine line of ladies’ watches that originated in the aftermath of World War II, is today an iconic masterpiece of industrial design. While some are easily identifiable as, well, snakes, others are much more subtle in their design influence.

The Twist Your Time is one such example; elegant and understated, it’s one of the most playful ladies’ watches of the past few decades. This particular example is housed in a 20mm 18K rose gold ‘Serpenti’ case with a sapphire crystal, an amethyst cabochon crown, and a polished bezel. It features a gloss black dial with applied rose gold Roman and ‘baton’ indices, and comes paired to an 18K rose gold multi-chain bracelet with a signed clasp. Powering it is a reliable quartz movement.

Whether you’re in need of a watch for formal occasions or you simply want to be a boss and rock it day-in and day-out, Bulgari’s Serpenti is a choice no one will possibly argue with.

In fact, we say you should expect many more daily compliments than you’re used to once you’ve got it on your wrist!

OVERALL CONDITION

The case is in outstanding condition overall showing faint signs of wear from gentle handling with intact factory stickers. Gloss black dial is in as-new condition with matching handset. Amethyst cabochon crown.
