WHY WE LOVE IT 

It’s been a minute since we've had a Kobold come through our doors, probably because Kobold owners LOVE their watches, and don't often give them up!

Not only does Kobold use top-notch materials and no-nonsense design, but their marketing materials were TOPS. (Picture: James Gandolfini giving the camera the finger while wearing a Kobold. RIP.) 

The particular Kobold we have here is a Richard Byrd Special Edition. A tribute to the great polar explorer and American admiral, it’s housed in a 40mm, DLC-coated stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal, a smooth bezel, and a signed, screw-down crown. It features a luminous, textured black dial with painted ‘Arabic’ indices, a matching ‘Mk 11’ handset, and an outer, open minute track. Powered by an automatic Swiss movement, it comes paired to a black leather strap with a DLC-coated, steel pin buckle.

OVERALL CONDITION

Case is in outstanding condition overall showing faint signs of wear consistent from gentle use. Luminous black textured dial with painted 'Arabic' indices is in as-new condition with matching handset. Signed crown.
