Then pay attention, because if you can't get your hands on a Big Crown Submariner or a Seamaster equipped with a laser, this may be the next best thing: In 2020 Swatch released a series of watches called the Swatch X 007 Tribute Collection, inspired by classic James Bond films. Fun, lightweight and affordable, they're an enjoyable entry point into 007-themed watch collecting that need not bankrupt the collector. Each watch in the lineup features a plastic case, a quartz movement, and a matching rubber strap. Perfect for everyday wear or if you're a serious collector for hoarding, these are the kinds of entry-level, battery-powered watches we can get behind. The License to Kill Swatch that we have here is inspired by the Floridian and Mexican locales featured in the film, in which villain Franz Sanchez hunts down a 007 suspended from service in MI6. It features a 34mm plastic case, a plastic crystal, an unsigned crown, and a sunburst silver dial with a purple, plastic stick handset. The rubber strap takes inspiration from Sanchez's pet iguana and features stylized palm trees and a sunset motif. In near-mint, complete condition with its ephemera, this James Bond-inspired Swatch is perfect for the 007 devotee. Don't sleep on this one!

OVERALL CONDITION Case is in outstanding, as-new condition overall showing only faint signs of wear from gentle handling. Multi-tone dial is in as-new condition with matching handset. Unsigned crown.
