This particular Polerouter, a Reference 204503/2, dates to circa 1960 and features a 35.5mm stainless steel twisted-lug case with a a signed crown, Universal Genève's Calibre 215-1 automatic winding 'microtor' movement, and an absolutely mesmerizing deeply tropicalized 'gilt-crosshair' dial with an applied 'shield' logo, and a matching dauphine handset.
The culmination of design details like the gorgeous graduated chapter ring with the integrated asymmetric date window, the 'crosshair' dial, the svelte 'microtor' movement, the twisted lug case, and the outstanding build quality, leave us with a truly important watch from the most famous watch designer in history.
