With a dial that was comparatively sophisticated for its time, this 1990 reissue unites the day, date, and lunar cycle in a design that feels both technical and poetic. The 37mm polished gold-tone stainless-steel case sets the stage with a beautifully tiered bezel, framing a cream dial rich in detail. Sitting just beyond the central time display are two outer rings which give you the monthly calendar at a glance, separated from a crisp Arabic numeral index by a printed rail track with an applied metallic marker at eachhour. At the center, a thin gold-tone ring ties the design together, encircling both the main hub and a dedicated moon phase windowjust above it, where crisp lunar illustrations track the current phase of the moon. Completing the dial design is a date window at 6o’clock that brings even more visual interest. Finished with a dark brown crocodile-grain natural leather strap responsibly sourcedfrom the Leather Working Group (LWG) and equipped with quick-release spring bars, this distinctive reissue brings a sense of occasion to everyday timekeeping.
