With its ties to the great Gerald Genta who was only 24 when he designed it stunning looks, a horologically-significant movement and an interesting history to boot, the Polerouter is that one amazing value proposition that punches far above its weight class. This particular Polerouter, a Reference 204504/4, dates to circa the late 1950s and features a yellow gold capped twisted-lug case with a lovely patinated champagne-toned dial with a matching dauphine handset, and UG's Calibre 215-1 automatic-winding micro-rotor movement within. The culmination of design details like the gorgeous graduated chapter ring with the integrated asymmetric date window, the svelte 'microtor' movement, the twisted lug case, and the outstanding build quality, leave us with a truly important watch from the most famous watch designer in history. When you strap it on your wrist you'll quickly see why collectors are always on the hunt for clean and interesting examples of Polerouters such as this one!

OVERALL CONDITION The case is in very good condition overall showing signs of light previous polishing and normal signs of wear consistent with age and use. Satin champagne dial with yellow gold chapter ring is in good condition, showing a beautiful, even patina with matching 'dauphine' handset. Eterna signed crown.
